Wow! I am a Wellness brand Fish and Sweet Potato food eater myself, but this is pretty amazing!

March 31, 2010

I would just like to remind everyone that I do not wear clothes (except for a few photo opp exceptions where I tolerate Meghan’s weird outfits for about 30 seconds); however these are AMAZING for all of you dogs out there who do choose to wear clothes! They are designed by Roberto Cavalli! The jump suit is killing me! Perfect for vegas!

Love this tablescape from 100 Layer Cake! They describe it as Brooklyn meets Kate Spade! I know that dogs can’t chew gum, but I bet we can drink from straws with a little practice! Can’t wait for the summer entertaining season to begin. I have big plans!

Amazing Cake Presentation ideas from Herriott Grace. Love!

Today I want to crawl into a happy little scene from Rifle Paper Co. (or a bear belly to read a story)!

March 30, 2010

Why have I not seen this?? I just put my little paws in action and pushed it to the top of my netflix queue! I had no idea that Valentino has 6 pugs (Milton, Monty, Maude, Margot, Maggie and Molly) who travel around the world with him and even have their own butler who brushes their teeth at night! Apparently at one point in the in the film he says “I don’t care about the collection. My dogs are much more important”.  Can’t wait to watch!

Oh boy! And I guess there was a Pug-O-Vision pug contest in association with the movie’s release last year too and these ridiculously adorable little chubbos came in third place! Too much! I am so behind the times!

March 29, 2010

um, I totally need this glam lobster pillow to complete my Maine pillow bedscape! I saw it on HGTV last night and just found it after some searching at Z Gallerie!

Since yesterday’s post was very crafty, I thought I might continue with a crafty sneak peak at the large DIY home makeover Meghan and Ben and I have been working on since we landed in Freeport last year. Our new pad is from 1841 and has needed lots and lots of work, which we have loved doing!! I am working on a large before and after photo project that I hope to get done next week but thought I would show a sample before and after now.

Happy weekend!!

March 25, 2010

Good afternoon! I am being forced by Meghan today to post pictures of her new sewing projects that she is really proud of. She is taking a beginners class with Mary at Z Fabric (we love her shop!!!!) right now and made a tote bag and a pillow with a zipper! Very exciting! We have plans in the works for some cute new collars for me right now!

March 24, 2010

My inner J Lo has really been feeling this ruffle Juicy Couture T today!

March 23, 2010

Wow! Humans are truly sick! Rear Gear? I am offended! If you don’t like the variety below you can also order a disco ball, a cupcake and fuzzy dice. Even though you creep me out Rear Gear, I think I love you.

March 23, 2010

Love this little bakery (Outsider Tart) in London! I dream of opening my own little doggie bakery and curiosity shop in Freeport one day where pups and humans can shop for unique products and snack on yummy vittles and have fun and interact in a really interesting  space! My dream gets really restless and start poking out of my brain when I see cute shops I love (like this one)!

Happy Spring!!! I had an amazing weekend in the warm sunshine! Below are my pictures from Saturday. I spent the afternoon with my pals Curry and Taco at Winslow park! It was the best EVER! We all went for our first 2010 swim in the ocean! Well….Curry and Taco went for a swim and I waded in up to my chin until Meghan had a heart attack because I wasn’t in my HUGE neon orange life jacket and pretty much embarrassed me out of the water. She started yelling “No, you can’t swim! You’re special, you’re not like the other dogs! Come back!” She is totally overbearing and embarrassing! Anyway, it was still really fun!

Love this log from the chop shop!

The new L.L. Bean Signature line officially launched today and I am so excited. I am a huge Alex Carleton and Rogues Gallery fan and I am a very proud Freeport, Mainer and L.L.Bean fan, so this is really just the perfect little storm of excitement for me.

Love all the Maine in these photographs:

I love these business cards and stationary! They make my belly rumble! It really doesn’t get much better than this.

Thank you Lisa Nakamura and La Charcuterie! You made my day! I wonder if they’re scratch and sniff?

March 17, 2010

Hi! Happy St Patrick’s Day!

This is me refusing to get out of Bed this morning:

I am still milking my hurt toe. It’s kind of fun!

When I wake up, I am planning to listen to the Pogues and hopefully meet a little leprechaun! They are so jolly and cute!

March 16, 2010

I spend a good chunk of everyday obsessing over interior design blogs and recently I have been noticing a trend of dogs being strategically staged in designers’ work. At first this made me feel like a cheap accessory, but then I realized that we are being featured so often because we warm up every space we enter and give it personality! I am in love with this home below and I think the doggie model brings life and amazingness to the photos! It’s all starting to make sense. Enjoy…

Good morning! I am back! I hurt my toe this weekend and I am now being a little bit of a diva. I hope you feel really bad for me. I am having one of my toenails removed tomorrow, which really messes with my ability to get a full mani pedi for spring. I am totally bummed. Anyway, I spent the weekend being carried around and having Ben and Meghan at my beck and call. All I have to do is whimper a little and they come running…with cookies! Having a hurt toe isn’t SO bad.

Anyway, I found this while lounging on the couch and surfing the web this morning:

Kind of LOVE it, kind of totally weirded out by it! It kind of reminds me of an astro dog! And that reminded me of these pictures I had seen a while back on the Molly Mutt blog:

Love space dog and his awesome cowboy pal! It also reminded me of Space Oddity and really has me considering the idea of making my own tribute video that I can send to David Bowie because I love him. That’s what’s going on with me today.

Happy Monday! This past weekend was the prettiest weekend EVER! Well, of 2010 at least! I LOVED it! Here are some pictures of me hanging with my pals:

And a few pictures of Winslow park:

(Yes, I know, I post similar pictures every week, but to me they all look really different! Sorry.)

Meghan is headed to Vegas for the rest of the week so I am going to take a blogging vaca until she returns. If I were going with her I would buy this Velour jumpsuit to wear:

and this charm for my collar probably too:

Talk next week!

March 8, 2010

Oh boy! I think this is meant for cats and mini pups, but I sure would love to try jamming my chubby little body in there too!

And their website is totally adorable too!
